I had the most amazing stay at Ann's Hill! Upon arrival, Vanessa greeted me with a warm welcome and showed me to my stunning cottage. The place was absolutely immaculate, with everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was a dream, equipped with top-notch appliances, and the family-sized dining table provided the perfect setting for enjoying meals while taking in the breathtaking views through the French doors. The bedrooms were luxurious and had a charming cottage-style decor. I especially loved the ensuite shower and toilet in one of the bedrooms, while the family bathroom had a beautiful free-standing copper bath that I indulged in for a relaxing soak. The lounge area was cozy and inviting, complete with comfortable sofas, a TV, and French windows that opened to a lovely Juliet balcony. Each window offered a picturesque view of the surrounding fields. And let's not forget the added bonus of the hot tub! It was pure bliss to soak in after a day of exploring Keswick or hiking up Cat Bells. In the evenings, I had the pleasure of spotting an owl and bats flying around while enjoying the tub. It truly was a delight. Vanessa's hospitality went above and beyond my expectations. She thoughtfully provided cereals, yogurt, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, and even frozen croissants and pain au chocolat for breakfast. On my second day, I was surprised with a delicious homemade Lemon Drizzle cake on the doorstep. Vanessa's genuine care for her guests made me feel incredibly welcome. I even had the opportunity to meet Bill and Lucy, her horses, and was delighted when the new-born calves and her dog Jess paid me a visit the next morning. The location of Ann's Hill was also convenient, just a short drive away from Derwentwater and Buttermere. I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Ann's Hill. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a luxurious and tranquil retreat.

I cannot put into words just how stunning Ann'S Hill is. From the breathtaking location to the beautifully decorated lodge, every detail is impeccable. The welcoming touches, like the fully stocked utensil cupboard and the White Company soaps, made me feel like royalty. The fresh continental breakfast delivered every morning was a delightful treat. The lodge is perfect for families, with toys for the children and endless activities to explore. The free firewood was a generous bonus. The views of the mountains are simply breathtaking. I can't wait to return next year for a longer stay. Thank you, Vanessa, for creating such a peaceful and luxurious retreat. I highly recommend Ann'S Hill.
